Dear MEEA 2025 International Conference Participants,

Following the loss of Prof. Dr. Mine Cinar, we would like to dedicate a special issue in Journal of Research in Economics (JORE) to honor her memory as one of the oldest and most dedicated members of the MEEA family.

Prof. Cinar was an invaluable academic who worked in a wide range of fields from game theory to global economic development, including women, finance and ecology. We would like to dedicate this special issue to topics covering Prof. Cinar's area of expertise.

We are looking forward to your submissions for the special issue, to be published in February 2026, with the submission deadline of December 20, 2025.
